Q Do I have to sign a contract? A Yes. There are terms and conditions that outline our responsibilities and limitations. You are allowing Intercept Home Watch access to your home in your absence.
Q Can I cancel? A Yes. We require 24 hours notice via email or phone. If we do not receive the cancellation notice, the original signed contract fee for services will apply.
Q How secure is my information/keys/codes ? A Intercept Home Watch uses an encrypted data base for our customers. All keys are coded using the Intercept Home Watch coding system and are stored in a secured location. Your home address and name information cannot be linked to your keys by any outside source.
Q Can you provide my keys to a third party? A Not without your written consent.
Q How am I billed? A The standard package and customized services are pre paid by post dated cheque. All emergency response or unanticipated visits are invoiced for payment at net 10 days.
Q Are there holiday rates? A Yes. Our holiday rate is $40/per call , Wait Time rate is $30/hour. These rates apply to: Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day , Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Q Are you insured ,security trained and have a criminal background abstract? A Yes, yes and yes.
Q Do you use contractors? A Intercept Home Watch has a vast contact network for all home services. We can co-ordinate with the contractors you provide or recommend a service contractor to you. We will co-ordinate on your behalf. The service is contracted between you and the third party.
